A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available-Complete & Partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some of the natural teeth remain. In both the varieties, flexible dentures are also available at our clinic. These dentures are more flexible than the conventional ones. Dental Veneers/Laminates Veneers are a great way to treat chipped,broken or discolored teeth and can greatly enhance the color and shape of your teeth. Veneers are also effective in closing open spaces between your teeth. Veneers are of 2 types- 1.Porcelain veneers- This is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded on to the front surface of the tooth. These veneers are custom made in laboratory to fit your individual smile and hence require atleast two sittings. 2.Composite veneers-In this technique a thin layer of tooth colored filling material is bonded over your tooth surface. It is then polished and shaped to look like the rest of your teeth. These are relatively inexpensive and usually completed in one sitting.
